Published in The Stuart News (22 May 1958) with the caption "M.R. Buckalew, executive secretary of the Indian River Citrus League, is shown presenting the league's citrus theft reward check of $500.00 to Deputy Sheriff Joe Johnson of Martin County while Sebert Hall, field representative of Florida Citrus Mutual, is presenting Mutual's reward check of $100.00 to James Odom, grove manager of Howard Farms at Indiantown. Johnson and Odom are responsible for the arrest and conviction in fruit thefts recently in Martin County and are the joint recipients of the combined rewards. This is the second such reward paid by the Indian River Citrus League this season. The League and Florida Citrus Mutual have worked together in stimulating interest in the apprehension and conviction in citrus fruit thefts." -
