Portrait of a young Roy Baker in uniform. Roy C. Baker was an army MP during WWII, then worked with the Delray Beach Police Dept. He joined the Stuart police force in November 1945 and by December was the Stuart Chief of Police. In 1952 he was elected Sheriff of Martin County, a position he held until 1972. Poor copy. -
